Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Santa Barbara Management (SBM), we are shaping the wealth of those who shape our world. Companies and investment firms built today are scaling faster than at any time in history, and so is the wealth of the builders leading those organizations. We’re investing in that future and building the family office solution to serve those leaders.

SBM is a family office designed to enable exceptional builders and their families to thrive. Our all-in-one solution combines investments, tax compliance and strategy, trust and estates administration, financial administration and strategic finance under one roof and one team.

Founded in 2024 by a small group of successful business builders who sought to reimagine the ideal family office experience for themselves, SBM now powers the family office operations of some of the leading founders and investors of our time.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our client services practice. • We believe that the Team You Build is The Company You Build. All Team members at SBM live by our values:
  • Earn Trust Every Day Client success is our success. We consistently choose long-term relationship value over short-term gains, solving for our customers first and ensuring every choice we make advances their goals, not just our own immediate interests.
  • Do It Right, Do It Now Speed without shortcuts. We operate independently in unclear situations, take initiative on complex problems, concentrate on priorities and say "no" to distractions. High standards meet high velocity through high agency people.
  • Growth Is Our Natural State More isn't better - growth is. Small teams can do great things. We prioritize slope over intercept, constantly seek better approaches, and raise our collective bar. We embrace discomfort and constantly seek new opportunities to deliver for our clients.
  • Iron Sharpens Iron Transparency breeds trust. We don't tolerate mediocrity because we're proud of our work and do our best together. Teams excel when we challenge each other with supportive accountability.
  • Days Build Decades How we do anything is how we do everything. Small, consistent actions compound into extraordinary outcomes. Our long-term orientation is a structural advantage. Compounding is magical when you think in decades.
