Job Description:
As a Respiratory Therapist at Elevate Care, you will play a vital role in providing respiratory care services to patients with breathing disorders. You will assess patient needs, develop and implement personalized care plans, and work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine respiratory care requirements.
- Develop and execute individualized respiratory care plans.
- Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjusting care as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and self-management strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance respiratory care services.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license.
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
- Experience with mechanical ventilation and critical care is a plus.
