Overview
Haines Center Early Childhood is seeking a Therapist OT/PT as a LTS 4/20/26 - 5/27/26 (start date approximate).
Qualifications- Minimum
Education/Certification:
Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited Occupational Therapy program. - Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the direct supervision of a district occupational therapist, including screenings, evaluations, and delivery of interventions.
- Develop occupational therapy intervention plans and programs for students that align with IEP goals focused on sensorimotor needs, participation, and engagement.
- Select and provide occupational therapy interventions such as facilitating motor skills, sensory integration, play skills, social participation, and use of assistive technology, as outlined in student IEPs or intervention plans.
To work as part of our Substitute Team, you will need one of the following: a Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL), Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB) (requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education), or a Paraprofessional License and a bachelor's degree. We do not accept Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses in D303.
- Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate: $220 per day
