Talent Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist.
This position plays a vital role in supporting our organization by providing expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and compliance. It serves as a trusted advisor to supervisors and employees, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. The role will lead initiatives in talent acquisition, compensation analysis, job classification, and compliance programs, while also contributing to strategic projects that enhance HR practices and organizational effectiveness.
Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s in a related field (HR certification preferred) and a minimum of four years of progressive HR experience. Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices is essential, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience with applicant tracking systems and compensation analysis is highly desirable.
This is a full-time, exempt position starting at $62,858 – 70,782 per year. The district offers an outstanding and affordable benefit package including medical, pension program, and more.
