Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is seeking an experienced Customs Brokerage Manager to lead our Customs Brokerage team in Schiller Park, IL. This role requires an active U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB) and is responsible for leading brokerage operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing employees, and driving customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and profitability.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Customs Brokerage professionals.
  • Ensure timely and compliant customs clearances, government filings, and security filings.
  • Maintain compliance with CBP and other government regulations while providing ongoing team training.
  • Manage revenue, yield, working capital, DSO, invoicing, and financial performance.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to support customer growth and retention.
  • Handle customer escalations and serve as the customs brokerage subject matter expert.
  • Oversee SOPs, quality controls, audits, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive employee development, performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
What We’re Looking For
Required
  • Active U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB) in good standing
  • 5+ years of Customs Brokerage experience
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import compliance, documentation, and Incoterms
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field
  • Travel: Up to 20-30%
