NOW HIRING:
Customs Brokerage Entry Agent

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Brokerage Entry Agent to join our Customs Brokerage team and support the accurate, compliant, and timely clearance of import shipments while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do
  • Process import customs entries from document receipt through cargo release, delivery, billing, and file completion.
  • Review and audit commercial documentation for accuracy, including classification, valuation, country of origin, terms of sale, and CBP/PGA requirements.
  • Enter and maintain accurate shipment and entry data within Hellmann's brokerage systems.
  • Coordinate Importer Security Filings (ISF) with suppliers, origin offices, and third parties.
  • Collaborate with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and Partner Government Agencies (PGA) to resolve shipment delays and open issues.
  • Troubleshoot entry-related challenges and provide solutions that support customer success.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and company operating procedures.
  • Support additional customs brokerage and import operations activities as needed.
What You Bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or international logistics preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation, Incoterms, and international trade processes preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
