Service Technician - Industrial Machinery

• Prepare new machines for customer delivery and installation
• Uncrate, assemble, inspect, and test machinery to ensure proper operation
• Perform machine demonstrations and operator walkthroughs in our showroom
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues both remotely and on-site
• Provide technical support to customers by phone and email
• Assist with machine installations and startup activities
• Complete service documentation and inspection reports
• Work closely with customers, sales staff, and service personnel to ensure successful machine deliveries

• 2 years experience working with capital equipment, machine tools, or fabrication equipment
• 2 years experience with industrial electrical systems, including 3-phase power
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable working in both a shop and customer-facing environment

This position is primarily based in our Schiller Park showroom and warehouse. Travel typically ranges from 25–35% and may include:

• Customer installations
• Service visits
• Industry trade shows such as IMTS and FABTECH
• Support for large machinery deliveries
• Travel requirements may fluctuate throughout the year based on customer demand and company growth.

$25–40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
