We're hiring a self‑motivated CNC and Manual Machinist for our Toolroom team.

• Operate our CNC machines – including the Haas Lathe (your primary machine to start), Haas & Okuma Vertical Machining Centers.
• Program and edit jobs using Master Cam software.
• Run smaller production‑type jobs through the machining centers as needed.
• Troubleshoot machine and program issues as they come up on the floor.
• Operate manual machines – lathes, Bridgeport, and surface grinders – when the job calls for it.
• Report project status to the Tool Room Supervisor daily.
• Support our apprentices with basic training and hands‑on guidance.
• Take an active part in our safety initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and part prints, with a basic understanding of GD&T.
• Strong math skills, including algebra and trigonometry.
• Confidence using measuring devices and gauges, including the calibration process.
• Basic English reading and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass our company ISO, English, and Math assessments.

• Completion of an accredited CNC program.
• Hands‑on experience with manual lathes, Bridgeport mills, or surface grinders.
• Prior experience programming in Master Cam.

• A hands‑on shop role: standing, walking, and using your hands throughout the workday, with regular bending, stooping, or twisting.
• Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Vision of 20/40 (with or without correction) and the ability to communicate clearly on the floor.
• Stamina to work all assigned hours, including overtime as needed.
• Comfort in a shop environment with ongoing exposure to metalworking machinery, loud noise, dust, mist, oils, and solvents.
