Description:

The Youth Minister Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the church's youth ministry program. This role involves engaging and mentoring young people in their faith journey, creating a supportive and welcoming environment, and fostering their spiritual growth.

Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement youth ministry programs and activities that align with the church’s mission and values.
  • Organize retreats, service projects, and social events to promote community and spiritual growth.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all youth.
  • Provide guidance and support to youth in their spiritual and personal development.
  • Work closely with parents, church staff, and volunteers to promote youth programs.
  • Collaborate with other ministries to integrate youth into the broader church community.
  • Develop communication strategies to engage youth and their families.
  • Utilize social media and other platforms to promote events and share information.
  • Manage the youth ministry budget and resources effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of participation and program effectiveness.

Job Requirements and Preferences:

  • A strong faith and commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
  • Previous experience in youth ministry or related fields with a heart for high school youth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in theology, Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministry or a related field is preferred but not required.

Job Conditions:

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events and activities.
  • Ability to engage with youth in various settings, including in-person and virtual environments.
