The Maintenance Technician is responsible to effectively perform all the required duties of the Maintenance Mechanic Department position in an accurate, thorough and safe management.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical systems to the component level.
- Understand and repair industrial electrical systems.
- Install, maintain and repair equipment required to meet production needs.
- Install, service, and repair electric motors, heaters, coolers, refrigerators, and other related equipment using various hand and power tools.
- Move and replace machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Fabricate and assemble test parts as needed.
- Replace fuses, light bulbs, and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications.
- Disassemble and reassemble slicing and packaging equipment.
- Ability and willingness to assist in training.
- Resolve problems while providing innovative solutions.
- Ability to safely and effectively work on plant facilities of various forms.
- Maintain records and prepare reports related to the work regarding equipment, supplies, and materials.
- Prepare written reports on projects and equipment conditions.
- Slicing and packaging equipment
- Electric motors, heaters, coolers, refrigerators
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Able to disassemble and reassemble mechanical systems
- Capable of physical work on various facility structures
- Ability to lift, move, and replace machinery and equipment
