Holiday Inn Express in Scott, LA is looking for a dependable Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and handling a variety of maintenance projects.

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer helps maintain the overall condition and operation of the hotel.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel

• Troubleshooting and completing minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs

• Painting, sheetrock repair, and general property upkeep

• Completing maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas

• Inspecting equipment and identifying repairs before they become larger issues

• Maintaining tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies

• Picking up or ordering parts and supplies as needed

Experience with basic
plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, sheetrock, or general construction is preferred. Hotel maintenance experience is a plus, but we are also willing to consider someone with strong general maintenance skills who is dependable and willing to learn.
Qualified applicants must have an open availability including holidays and weekends.
