Maintenance Technician (Temporary) - The Plaza Lofts (Scottsdale, AZ)
Temporary Maintenance Technician – Hi-Rise CondominiumScottsdale, AZ
Temporary Position – Up to 90 Days
We are seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician to support our team in maintaining a hi-rise condominium community. This is a temporary assignment for up to 90 days, ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who can step in and provide immediate support. Overall maintenance experience is required.
Pay Range: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience
(This temporary position is not eligible for sign-on bonuses or full-time benefits.)
- 1–2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in a residential condominium or hi-rise community preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Flexible scheduling including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and emergency response as needed
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, construction, and basic mechanical systems
- Experience working with power tools
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities efficiently and accurately
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - High standard for customer service
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety standards
- Attention to detail and strong time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Assist in maintaining common areas, amenities, and building interiors
- Generate and complete work orders for maintenance requests and preventative maintenance tasks
- Diagnose maintenance issues and perform repairs according to safety standards and codes
- Support cost-effective maintenance practices by repairing rather than replacing when feasible
- Inspect contractor and vendor work for quality and compliance
- Conduct routine property inspections for safety and maintenance concerns
- Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance including lighting replacement
- Complete minor drywall repairs, touch-up painting, and minor irrigation repairs
- Assist with inspections of HVAC and other building systems
- Perform basic HVAC maintenance such as filter changes and coil cleaning
- Document preventative maintenance activities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
