Under general direction, responsible for repairs and maintenance of the physical plant and grounds of each hotel within the region to preserve Company assets in a safe and cost-effective manner in accordance with the Company’s programs and procedures.
Manages necessary repairs and monitors preventive maintenance procedures.
Trains property maintenance personnel to maintain property.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY- Requires general knowledge of building maintenance principles and practices.
- Requires skill and ability to repair complex heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Requires ability to evaluate building problems and recommend solutions to include cost estimates for the repair.
- Requires ability to communicate clearly with the managers and other hotel staff.
- Requires ability to train others in effective methods.
- Requires knowledge of local codes and ordinances.
