Facilities Director Campus Team Scottsdale, AZ Details

1. Lead and develop the Facilities team (staff and volunteers) through clear leadership, regular L10 meetings, and strong collaboration with campus and ministry leaders.

2. Serve as the primary facility coordinator for all church activities, ensuring spaces, equipment, and access are properly prepared for weekend services, ministries, classes, and special events.

3. Oversee campus maintenance and operations including building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), repairs, cleaning programs, inspections, and room preparation.

4. Manage vendor relationships, contractors, and facility assets including equipment inventory, service providers, and long‑term maintenance planning.

5. Steward the campus through responsible budgeting, capital planning, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance in partnership with the Director of Security.

1. Strong leadership and team development experience across facilities, maintenance, custodial, or operations environments.

2. Proven ability to manage projects, contractors, and complex operational initiatives from planning through completion.

3. Practical understanding of facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building infrastructure.

4. Ability to solve problems quickly, adapt to changing needs, and maintain operational excellence in a fast-moving environment.

5. Working knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and regulatory compliance.

1. Experience supporting church environments or large event-based organizations.

2. Experience scheduling and leading teams that operate across a seven-day facility schedule.

3. Familiarity with facilities management and maintenance tracking software.

4. Experience with church management systems such as Planning Center.

5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Work Schedule:
At least Saturday-Wednesday, and on call for facility emergencies beyond that, as well as special events
