Environmental Service Technician
Our Environmental Service Technicians help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents! This role keeps our community shining by handling housekeeping, laundry, floor care, and sanitation duties that make a daily difference in the lives of those we serve.

- Cleans assigned areas: restrooms, resident rooms, fitness rooms, offices, staff rooms, stairwells, and hallways using proper equipment, cleaning agents and techniques.
- Responds to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, bathrooms issues, etc.
- Maintains cleanliness of common areas to provide a safe environment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Cleans and sanitizes residents’ rooms, common areas and restrooms.
- Dusts, cleans, and disinfects all fixtures, woodwork, and equipment.
- Maintains office space through cleaning, vacuuming and dusting.
- Cleans public restrooms, including scrubbing floors, toilets, countertops and mirrors.
- Mixes cleaning solutions in appropriate proportions and quantities and follows manufacturer’s directions for washing floors or shampooing carpets.
- Vacuums, shampoos, and deep cleans carpets using various machines, detergents and spot removers.
- Dusts, sweeps, dry mops, and wet mops floors using hand held squeegees, brooms, mops, auto scrubber, etc.
- Delivers linens to each health care area as well as picks up dirty linens.
- Sorts, washes and dries linens following laundry procedures.
- Labels, folds and prepares clean linens for delivery.
- Waste management including, but not limited to: separation of waste, removal of waste and equipment throughout the facility via elevators and carts/dumpsters to the compactors at the loading docks.
- Empties waste baskets, replaces liners, disposes of trash in the dumpster and cleans and sanitizes trash rooms according to prescribed standards.
- Must be 18 and possess either a high school diploma or general equivalency duties (GED).
- One (1) year of cleaning/housekeeping experience and/or relevant experience.
- Ability to operate multiple floor care machines.
This position is part-time 7:00am-3:30pm, 48 hrs biweekly, with rotating weekends
