We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join our team  a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing calibrations, repairs, and maintenance on survey equipment to ensure optimal functionality and accuracy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing top-notch surveying solutions to our clients

Responsibilities
  • Perform calibrations and repairs to the high standards of KOREC and Trimble.
  • Fault finding and correction of faults from customer descriptions.
  • Supplying in depth description of fault found and correction of fault.
  • Contact customers for more information on a unit when necessary.
  • Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
  • Remain up to date with the latest products and repair authorisations as well as service bulletins from manufacturers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure equipment is sent back in working condition and in a clean condition.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in electronics and engineering practices, with a solid understanding of electronic circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to take the initiative for taking on work and changing parts.
  • Previous experience working with survey equipment is highly desirable; familiarity with brands such as Trimble, Leica, or Topcon is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, troubleshooting techniques, and diagnostic tools
  • Proficiency in using calibration software and diagnostic equipment for survey equipment.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with colleagues and clients professionally.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
