Event Services Operations Staff

The PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center is for you! We host a variety of events, meetings, and banquets, while also taking care of the facility grounds. This part‑time role is a great opportunity for self‑motivated individuals who are dedicated to the work environment and can work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.

- Facility Setup:
Prepare and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other items for events, guests, and exhibitors. - Custodial Tasks:
Clean restrooms, remove trash and maintain indoor areas in good condition. - Grounds Care:
Remove debris, shovel snow, and keep outdoor spaces clear and safe. - Livestock Areas:
Assemble, clean, repair, and tear down livestock pens, stalls, and cages. - Material Handling:
Load and unload supplies, equipment, hay, feed, and other items. - General Maintenance:
Use tools to complete basic repairs, wash windows, disinfect areas, paint surfaces, and complete other tasks as needed to help maintain facility spaces.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Experience working around animals and livestock and in large‑scale public events is preferred.
- Free on‑site parking.
- Permanent, part‑time employment.
- Essential employee – required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.
- Available shifts are:
- Saturday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Saturday – Sunday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Telework:
You will not have the option to telework in this position. - Salary:
In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.
