Hourly Rate: $37.06/hr
Position SummaryReporting to the Facilities Manager, Steam/Pipe fitters provide all services to maintain, repair, install, and replace any and all piping, valves, fittings, gaskets and pumps associated with the steam, chill, hydronic heat, and processed water systems of Temple University. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Background Checks and Screening- Motor vehicle driver’s license check

Education and Experience
- Completion of high school, trade school or accredited apprenticeship – required
- Minimum of 5 years experience with steam and chill systems
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Skills and Abilities
- Rigging experience to work safely in all situations
- Proficiency in all manners of cutting and welding all applicable materials
- Welding certification
