Hourly Compensation Range$16.00
Shift Schedule- 2‑week rotation
- Full Time – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (32 or 40 hours)
- Week 1
- Sunday – Off
- Monday – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Tuesday – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesday – Off
- Thursday – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Friday – Off
- Saturday – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Week 2
- Sunday – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Monday – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Tuesday – Off
- Wednesday – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long‑term care setting is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and understand procedure and instruction manuals and directions.
Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

The dietary aide assignments are determined by the needs basis on the activity of the shift. They report to the Cook and Dietary supervisor.
Essential Duties- Learn food service routine within a short period
- Set up meal trays
- Strip down returned trays and wash dishes
- Assist with serving meals
- Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at shift start
- Observe water temperatures during dishwashing cycles
- Operate dishwasher
- Prepare nourishment and snacks
- Sweep and mop kitchen
- Carry out trash and garbage
- Store groceries in a safe, orderly and clean manner
- Leave kitchen clean and sanitary; assist cook or supervisor when called upon
- Clean work surfaces and refrigerators
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff
- Work cooperatively and harmoniously with personnel in all departments
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Mathematical skills: ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations; solve practical problems; interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, and RegistrationsMust obtain and maintain a food handler’s certificate.
Physical DemandsEssential functions require standing and/or walking frequently, sitting occasionally, reaching, pushing/pulling, talking and/or hearing, tasting/smelling, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling occasionally, and maintaining vision, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
