DescriptionServe as a substitute custodian when needed at any of our six schools.

Education and QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is required.
Additional materials required for employment:
Criminal Background Check, Health Certification to Work, TB Test within one year, Proof of education, Driver’s License, and Social Security Card.

Special Conditions of EmploymentAll new state employees will be required to participate in the State of Delaware's Direct Deposit system.
Final candidates must have a satisfactory criminal background check and child protective registry check. The cost of the criminal background check is $65, an expense borne by the prospective employee. Candidates may contact the Delaware State Police at (Kent County) or (Sussex County) to make an appointment.
Final candidates must also produce documentation of Mantoux skin test results for entrance to the school system.
The State of Delaware has initiated a lag pay policy: new employees will receive the first paycheck at the end of the second pay period of work.
