Picture your day: you arrive at our Seagoville facility, sync up with the Maintenance Engineering Manager, scan overnight production notes, and dive into a blend of proactive care and rapid-response troubleshooting. One hour, you're analyzing a position sensor; the next, you're swapping out a relay or chasing down a pneumatic leak so the line never misses a beat.

What you'll tackle

Own the health of large production machinery through preventive care, swift breakdown response, and clear reporting.

Diagnose and repair/replace electronic components such as printed circuit boards, relays, switches, motors, and position-sensing devices.

Trace and replace damaged or broken wiring and cabling; connect power feeds between machines and ancillary equipment.

Test malfunctioning equipment, collaborate with fellow technicians, and zero in on root causes.

Troubleshoot and replace faulty mechanical and pneumatic parts; repair electronically controlled and pneumatic systems.

Analyze failure patterns, recommend corrective actions, and implement modifications followed by test runs.

Thoroughly clean machines and subassemblies; remove and reinstall parts as needed.

Use schematics, equipment manuals, and test procedures to complete high-quality repairs.

Verify electrical installations and repairs through appropriate electrical testing.

Support sitewide uptime by ensuring all facility equipment is maintained and performing to spec.

Grow into full-line proficiency across production areas.

Provide technical training to leaders and teammates as directed by the Maintenance Engineering Manager.

Prepare clear service reports; log worn or damaged components; participate actively in maintenance meetings.

Adapt your schedule when needed to support production priorities and safety.

Contribute to SOP development and create user-friendly manuals/guides for other departments.

What helps you succeed

Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards applicable to plant operations and maintenance.

Hands-on ability with facility systems and equipment, including routine and advanced system checks.

Experience with robotic teach pendants and programmable controllers to program, test, troubleshoot, and confirm repairs on automated equipment.

Strong organization and prioritization; solid written and verbal communication.

Comfort following direction from supervisors and senior technicians while taking initiative on the floor.

Fluency with hand and power tools; ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring; proficient with meters and diagnostic instruments.

Mechanical aptitude with sharp analytical and problem-solving instincts.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm under pressure.

Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move to access, clean, and service machinery; able to traverse the property to diagnose issues and plan repairs.

Welding experience.

Education High school diploma or equivalent required.

Vocational/community college coursework in electrical or mechanical disciplines preferred, with three (3) years of related experience; or an equivalent blend of education, training, and experience.
