House Cleaning (Part-Time) – Washington DC

Please Assist Me is a home‑management service that empowers clients to outsource their weekly chores. We are hiring Part‑Time Housekeepers who are punctual, thorough, efficient, and eager to learn.

• Light Cleaning: Perform dusting, hand‑washing dishes, cleaning kitchen countertops and utensils, fluffing pillows, folding blankets, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors in assigned areas, emptying wastebaskets and recyclables, transporting trash, and refreshing bathrooms by cleaning countertops, toilets, showers, tubs, floors, and mirrors.
• Deep Cleaning: Replenish linens, make beds, vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, sweep floors, wash windows, dust ceilings and baseboards, clean mirrors and glass surfaces, deep clean bathrooms by scrubbing sinks, countertops, toilets, showers, tubs, and empty all wastebaskets and recyclables.

• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID‑19.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team.
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time‑management skills.
• Extremely precise attention to detail during cleaning.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or equivalent knowledge, skill, and mental ability.
• Passion for cleaning.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, walk, stand for long periods, push a vacuum cleaner, and lift up to 25–30 pounds.
• General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques.
• Must be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Pay: $15.00 per hour.
