About the Role
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is a leader in real estate solutions. This Mobile Engineer position focuses on preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds across healthcare properties in the Seattle, Washington area.
Responsibilities- Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
- Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to keep building machinery and systems at or above rated life.
- Review inspections of systems such as fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to verify performance and environmental conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
- Operate company‑issued vehicles during daily work.
- Apply knowledge of standard principles and procedures to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach and share knowledge across disciplines.
- Lead by example, model CBRE RISE values, and work to build consensus.
- Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and related teams.
- Work within broad guidelines and policies and explain difficult or sensitive information.
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4‑5 years of related experience, or a combination of experience and education.
- Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license required.
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting 50 lbs or more.
- Strong judgment based on multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to bring a new perspective to existing solutions.
- In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
Compensation ranges from $39.50 to $50.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) from the start date. LocationApproximately nine sites across Northgate, Seattle, and Renton, Washington. Travel to assigned sites is required.
