A General Maintenance Worker will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front‑of‑house areas. Guest‑room and public‑area entry‑level preventative maintenance are included. The role also involves repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, and good communication skills.

Hourly rate starts at $29.48, increasing to $29.98 after 90 days. Additional increases: +$0.50 after 5 years, +$0.75 after 7 years, +$1.00 after 10 years.

• Experience with public‑area and guest‑room preventative maintenance
• Guest relations skills
• Adherence to security policies and Hyatt standards
• Organization of engineering workshop and parts inventory
• Responsibility for engineering shift coverage
• Maintenance of building and equipment
• Replacement of guest‑room AC fan motor and filter cleaning
• Basic troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, touch‑up painting, etc.)
• Maintenance of all facility repairs and work orders
• Conduct of preventive maintenance checks in coordination with DOE
• Ensure interior and exterior landscaping irrigation is in good condition
