Maintenance Worker

Department DescriptionThe Plant Engineering Department at the UW Medical Center – Northwest helps UW Medicine fulfill its mission to improve the health of the public by ensuring general maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and quickly to maintain a safe patient care environment.
Responsibilities- Performs minor maintenance and repairs throughout the hospital
- Moves furniture, cleans work areas, stocks shelves and replaces light bulbs
- Assists Senior Engineers, Carpenters, Painters and Electricians with troubleshooting and repairs
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of maintenance experience
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
Pay Range Minimum: $25.31 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $36.76 hourly
