A growing, privately held property management group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee operations across two apartment communities in West Seattle.
This is a high-visibility, hands‑on leadership role responsible for maintaining property standards, leading teams, and ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations.

- Maintain the condition of buildings, units, and shared spaces
- Implement preventative maintenance and support long‑range improvements
- Coordinate unit turnovers to meet leasing timelines
- Supervise and support maintenance staff across both sites
- Manage scheduling, performance, and daily priorities
- Build a strong, accountable, and team‑focused culture
- Ensure service requests are completed quickly and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated maintenance issues
- Participate in on‑call rotation for urgent needs
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers
- Manage expenses and prioritize cost‑effective solutions
- Negotiate services as needed
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational policies
- Maintain accurate service records and reporting
- Assist with inspections and operational audits
- Prior experience in multifamily or residential maintenance required
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Experience supervising maintenance teams (multi‑site exposure a plus)
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable using maintenance tracking tools and standard systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on‑call support
- A hands‑on leader who can balance fieldwork and oversight
- Comfortable managing multiple locations and shifting priorities
