San Poil Treatment Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff. The Housekeeper plays an important role in supporting the health and well-being of individuals receiving services by ensuring facility cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met.
The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
Essential Functions Clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and treatment spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
Clean and disinfect high-touch areas according to established infection control procedures.
Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
Replenish paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and other housekeeping supplies.
Launder facility linens, towels, and other washable items as assigned.
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
Follow established cleaning schedules and sanitation protocols.
Assist with facility set-up and clean-up for meetings, events, and activities.
Operate housekeeping equipment safely and properly.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working in client areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain professional working relationships with clients, visitors, and staff.
Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push, pull, and operate housekeeping equipment.
Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments.
Conditions of Employment Successful completion of a background check.
Compliance with all San Poil Treatment Center policies and procedures.
Any required pre-employment screenings.

Note:

TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
