** DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
** The Plant Engineering Department at the UW Medical Center – Northwest helps UW Medicine fulfill its mission to improve the health of the public by ensuring general maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and quickly to maintain a safe patient care environment.
** RESPONSIBILITIES
* ** Performs minor maintenance and repairs throughout the hospital
* Move furniture, cleans work areas, stocks shelves and replaces light bulbs
* Assists Senior Engineers, Carpenters, Painters and Electricians with troubleshooting and repairs
** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
*** High school diploma or GED equivalent
* 1+ years of maintenance experience
* Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
** Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
**** Pay Range Minimum:**$25.31 hourly
** Pay Range Maximum:**$36.76 hourly
