Merrill Gardens - 620 Terry Avenue - Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks including defrosting refrigerators, changing light bulbs and A/C filters, and monthly checks of fire extinguishers, exits, and emergency lights; complete and create maintenance work orders; maintain and repair walls, floors, doors, windows, furniture, and woodwork in common areas; repair vacated rooms and paint walls; perform plumbing repairs in-house; perform minor electrical work in units and common areas;

document safety issues and facility deficiencies per guidelines; assist Maintenance Supervisor with preventative maintenance and cleaning of community vehicles; support safety training and hazard communications; respond to accidents and emergencies per protocol; paint common areas and vacant apartments; housekeeping duties including routine and deep cleaning of common areas and offices; wash/dry/fold and return resident laundry; stock supplies; wash interior windows and fixtures;

food service duties including dining room setup, updating menus, ensuring cleanliness, and event setup; provide general support tasks such as delivering papers, answering phones, handling resident and employee information, preparing mailings, and stocking supplies; meet background check and other requirements as requested.
