Custodian

Sound Generations seeks a Custodian to keep our community spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for older adults and adults with disabilities across King County. In this on-site role, you will clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas; sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust; empty trash and recycling; and restock supplies. You'll follow safety and infection-control procedures, help set up and break down rooms for programs and events, and report maintenance or safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling and manage waste safely
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and liners
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report needed repairs
• Follow safety, infection control, and chemical handling procedures
• Support room setups and breakdowns for programs and events
• Report maintenance or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
