Mechanical Service Technician

Job Description

Central Machinery Sales, located in Sunnyside, WA, is looking for a Service Technician to join their team! Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs products or equipment while also engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills.

• Engaging with customers to understand their needs, recommend appropriate products or services, and explain product features
• Selling products, delivering and installing equipment on-site and ensuring customers receive the purchased items
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with products or equipment, performing repairs, and replacing parts as needed
• Performing routine maintenance, preventative care and basic repairs on equipment or products
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, service requests and inventory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, explain technical information and build rapport
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Ability to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products and close sales

• Proficiency in the technical aspects of the products or services, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly and retain information
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate easily with others in both oral and written form.

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly $30-$45 per hour
