Maintenance Technician

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves keeping a property in great shape. Our Maintenance Technicians perform service requests in occupied and vacant units, housekeeping, and repairs of vacated units, as well as performing and monitoring property curb appeal, and assisting with customer service and lease enforcement with residents.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Driver's License and fully insurable driving record
  • At least twelve months of relevant experience as a Vacate Technician or equivalent, and three years of work experience in general apartment maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse populations, seniors, and persons with disabilities.

What will you do?

  • Repair and/or perform basic service requests in occupied and vacant units. Make general carpentry repairs and replacements to existing unit features. May replace small areas of floor tile or carpet squares, repair kitchen or fixtures, or perform minor appliance repair.
  • Perform general cleaning, maintenance and grounds keeping tasks, performing general
  • Monitor wear and tear in units.
  • Assist with unit and common area inspections by accompanying outside representatives on Property visits. Identify, document and perform needed repairs to be in compliance with HQS standards.
  • Communicate appropriate lease enforcement concerns, e.g., in common areas, units, yards and garbage areas, with management and residents.
  • Coordinate move-ins and move-outs with Management.
