Maintenance Supervisor 3
Shoreline College is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Supervisor 3 position. Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities and Capital Projects, this position supports the College's mission by performing supervisory level work in the maintenance, repair, remodeling, alteration, and construction of Shoreline Community College buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment. Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Plan, organize, and direct the work of maintenance team or contractors engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, heating, water, cooling, refrigeration, sewer, HVAC, and mechanical/electrical control systems;
- Serve as on-call maintenance supervisor to address any emergency needs.
- Support the Director of Facilities and Capital Projects on all major and minor capital projects.
- Review specifications, blueprints, and submittals for capital planning and projects and provide feedback;
- Coordinate campus shutdowns with project contractors and schedules training with maintenance team.
- Develop, conduct, and lead a preventative maintenance program for assigned machinery and equipment
- Conduct continuous reviews of daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and biannual preventative maintenance tasks within the work order management system;
- Update fixed assets to reflect accurate information at all times.
- Consult with appropriate resources to plan, estimate, and execute projects; requisitions materials and equipment;
- Create estimates for building improvement requests, the repairs, modifications, and additions of equipment.
- Assist with planning, organizing, and direction of training for assigned personnel;
- Review and recommend routine safety training utilizing multiple platforms;
- Assist in demonstrating and presenting safety materials to the team.
