The Boeing Company is seeking a  Crater B  to support Boeing Global Services in  Sea Tac, WA.  Employees in this position work in a Distribution Center or a Shipping Area building wooden and fiberboard crates for domestic and export shipments and storage.

Position Responsibilities:

Operate typical wood shop power tools such as table and band saws
Operate typical hand tools such as hammer, drill and pneumatic nail gun
Operate powered industrial trucks
Apply labels, paint stencils and glue padding to crates
Move completed crates to prescribed areas
Eye, ear, hand and foot protection will be required to be worn
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to carry up to 15lbs frequently and occasionally up to 35lbs
Have experience with power equipment and hand tools such as table saws, band saws, pneumatic nail guns, hammers and wrenches
Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift (24/7/365-day operation. Saturday and Sunday may be required work days)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
2+ years experience with shop equipment such as tables saws, band saws, and pnuematic nail guns.
1+ year of experience in carpentry
