Overview
Working under the supervision of the Supervisor, performs a variety of unskilled and semiskilled duties in the maintenance of county recreation facilities and grounds.
Responsibilities- Assists in performing preventive maintenance and general upkeep and repairs inside and outside
- Cleans restrooms
- Operates pressure washer and other cleaning equipment
- Helps with event set-up and tear-down
- Performs routine cleaning tasks based on a schedule created by the facility management team
- Performs related duties as assigned
Elementary school graduation and at least three years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of formal education and related work experience.
Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations- Must possess a valid driver s license.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy articles.
- Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Ability to work under adverse weather conditions.
