Track Operations Support

Location and Context

SEBRING INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY, located in Sebring, Florida, is America's oldest road racing track and hosts the historic Twelve Hours of Sebring each year on the third Saturday of March.

Responsible for helping with track maintenance during the race event.

• Operate tractors, trucks, sweepers and other equipment as needed.
• Use shovels, brooms, etc., and manually move tires and tire packs to appropriate locations on the track.
• Keep equipment ready to be used at a moment's notice.
• Travel required – 0%

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training in customer service and sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language skills:
  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Mathematical skills:
  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning ability:
  Apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions; solve problems with concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Computer skills:
  Proficient on company-provided hardware and software.
• Position is safety-sensitive and participates in corporate Substance Abuse Program (SAP).
• Physical demands:
  Able to stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands, reach, lift up to 25-50 pounds, and meet vision requirements.
