Custodian​/Janitor 1st shift

* Position Summary:

* Bush Hog, Rhino Ag, and Dixie Chopper are among the most recognized and successful brands in the Agricultural and Outdoor Power Equipment industries.  The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of company facilities. This position performs routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic tasks to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

** Essential Functions of the Job:*
* + Focus, communicate, encourage and contribute to Safety in all aspects of the job and all company meetings.

+ Empty trash and recycling containers

+ Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors

+ Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment

+ Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper

+ Follow cleaning schedules and checklists

+ Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment

+ Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

+ Support special cleaning projects or events as assigned

+ Maintain a clean and organized supply/storage area

Skills and Abilities

(KSA's):*

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

+ Understanding of safety practices and proper chemical handling

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Reliability and strong work ethic

* Education and Experience:

* + High school diploma or GED preferred

+ Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required

+ Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

+ Dependable with good attendance and time management skills

* Working Conditions:

* + Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

+ Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 25-50 pounds

+ Ability to perform repetitive motions

+ Ability to work in environments with dust, noise, and cleaning chemicals

+ Indoor facility with occasional outdoor duties

+ May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment

+ May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or shift work based on operational needs
