– Job Role s and Responsibilities Role Summary The Maintenance Process Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment and manufacturing processes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role works closely with Maintenance, Process Engineering, Production, Quality, and HSE teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and manufacturing systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-related equipment issues.

Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions to minimize downtime and restore equipment to reliable operation.

Partner with Process Engineers and Production teams to identify equipment and process issues and implement sustainable solutions.

Support equipment start-ups, installations, commissioning, modifications, and process improvements.

Analyze recurring equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to eliminate repeat breakdowns.

Support Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies and continuous improvement activities to increase equipment reliability and availability.

Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and ensure accurate completion of work orders.

Identify opportunities to improve machine performance, cycle time, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Assist with developing and updating standard operating procedures, maintenance instructions, troubleshooting guides, and equipment documentation.

Work with equipment vendors and contractors to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and support equipment improvements.

Maintain proper inventory and availability of critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials.

Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to other maintenance technicians and production personnel.

Train and mentor less-experienced technicians on equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance practices, and safe work procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
