Floor Care Worker

Performs a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and preserve the appearance and condition of all floors throughout the facility.

Experience:

Previous experience with floor care equipment is preferred.

Education:

High school or equivalent preferred but eight grade accepted.

Current Kansas driver's license

Job duties include:

  • Dry mops floors.
  • Operate floor scrubber.
  • Shower scrubs and strips floors.
  • Waxes floors.
  • Buffs floors.
  • Vacuums carpet.
  • Cleans carpet.
  • Assist in cleaning of emergency spills that are observed or requested.
  • Checks and cleans floor equipment.
  • Attends meetings as required.
  • May be assigned to do any or all of the extra job tasks as listed for EVS Technician (job description can be reviewed)
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
