What You Will Be Doing:
As an Environmental Services Journey 2, you will maintain a clean, sanitary and safe physical environment in AVTEC facilities, including the interior and exterior of assigned areas such as dormitories, apartments, recreation areas, food service areas, training areas, classrooms, and offices. Duties include cleaning, deodorizing, and sanitizing large living and work areas, furniture, upholstery, carpets, and hard surface flooring; maintaining an inventory of cleaning materials, supplies, chemicals, and equipment;
performing routine servicing of tools and equipment; removing snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks and steps; securing buildings and grounds; and driving the school’s van to transport students as needed.

- Alaska resident. Must meet Alaska residency requirements.
- Valid driver’s license required; proof prior to reporting.
- Ability to meet competency specifications (Local 71).
