Park Attendant

Essential Functions/Typical Tasks

• Sweeping, dusting, hosing, wet mopping, sanitizing restroom surfaces, vacuuming, window washing, removal of trash and litter as well as other cleaning activities pertinent to the park/facility areas.
• Consistently communicates in a pro-active, clear and concise manner with supervisors, park users, and co-workers.
• Greets/assists all patrons in a friendly manner with a consistently positive attitude.
• Keeping storage and janitorial closets clean and organized.
• Maintains a high level of visibility and accessibility.
• Performs routine checks for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Advises management of inventory (trash bags, paper products, etc.) needs.
• Advises management of maintenance concerns.
• Insures daily cleaning assignments are completed.
• Reports all accidents and incidents to management immediately.
• Wears uniform as provided.
• Must be punctual.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of park areas is preferred.

• The ability to be personable and helpful to all customers
• Able to communicate effectively in a timely manner (voice, email, text)
• Able to work a flexible schedule and varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, is necessary.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to lift and load trash bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
• The desire to work effectively with other employees
• The ability to follow instruction and perform tasks to the standards of management.

• Minimum age of 15 years old
