Compensation

Hourly wage: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour.

Commission
  • Exempt
    :
    Potential commission $0.50 - $10.00 per Membership sold, $0.15 - $3.00 per Fun Pass sold; paid bi-weekly unless state law requires otherwise.
  • Non-Exempt
    :
    Potential commission $2.00 - $8.00 per Membership sold, $0.60 - $2.40 per Fun Pass sold; paid bi-weekly unless state law requires otherwise.
Job Description

This position is known internally as Technical Manager. You will oversee and maintain the mechanical and electrical systems in a Chuck E Cheese game room, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
  • Work on video and skill games, kitchen equipment, register systems, and coin/ticket mechanisms.
  • Maintain arcade games, registers, IT systems, and ticket dispensers.
  • Manage electrical and mechanical aspects of the game room; perform daily preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, repair or replace defective electronic components, boards, and computers.
  • Operate stage‑show equipment and oversee repairs and preventive maintenance, including compressors, lighting, sound, pneumatics, valves, cylinders, boards, and stage‑show cosmetics.
  • Maintain inventory of electronic equipment, mechanical parts, and tools.
  • Manage budget.
  • Maintain safety‑focused attitude at all times.
Skills We’re Looking For
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot down to the component board level.
  • Strong planning, organization and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Time management and a sense of urgency.
  • Military experience, a technical degree, or previous electrical or mechanical training (preferred).
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Available to work up to 45 hours per week.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience.
Essential Job Functions and Work Environment
  • Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat as needed.
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and team members.
