Position:
Maintenance Manager
Location:
Sharonville, OH
Description:
Maintenance Manager reports to the Director of Maintenance. Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities of the shop and equipment.
- Leadership and Supervision:
Provide direct supervision and support to the maintenance crew while ensuring adherence to the shop safety standards. - Safety and Compliance:
Promote a culture of safety, enforce safety guidelines, and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and protocols. - Maintenance Management:
Manage equipment repairs, upgrades, and replacements to ensure smooth plant operations. - This includes working with vendors and subcontractors on part repairs and purchasing new items. Keep in contact with these companies. Understand what the current delivery/lead times are. Keep in contact with them to ensure products arrive on time.
- Preventative Maintenance:
Work with the Director to develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance Program. - Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve processes to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. - The Digital Age:
Work with the Direct on bringing the shop into the digital age. - Getting sketches, files and folders digitized
- Building an inventory and managing an inventory
- Use the Co-Op as a resource
- Communication and
Collaboration:
Foster effective communication and collaboration with other shifts, departments, and management to address operational challenges, share best practices, and ensure seamless workflow between shifts.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Solid background with at least 5 years of experience in maintenance management at a production facility or job site, including expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. Experience with hydraulic systems is a plus.
- Leading teams is your strength, and safety is your priority.
- Skilled in both the nuts and bolts of maintenance and the strategy of process improvement.
