A Facility Maintenance person is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance/sanitation of the warehouse and building along with other duties as assigned. A qualified candidate must have the ability to operate light to heavy cleaning equipment including, but not limited to, floor scrubber, floor vacuum, pressure washer, forklift, and pallet rider. Must have the ability to clean all types of surfaces, furniture, restrooms, trailers, tractors and work areas.
This position requires contact with cleaning chemicals, paints, occasional use of ladders and or material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet riders.
Included in this position is light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, painting, racking replacement, wall repair, light battery maintenance (battery watering) etc. Must have the ability to operate hand tools including drills, saws, and other hand tools as needed. Learn ammonia inspection processes and procedure, conduct daily inspections.
Other duties include pre-bill selection when needed. A qualified candidate must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 85 pounds occasionally, with the ability to work in varying temperatures from
-20F to 100F. A candidate must be willing to work extended schedules including nights and weekends.
Holiday work and some weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:- Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations. Performs daily safety checks.
- Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
- Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.

- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 6+ months maintenance and repair or related area
- General Knowledge of OSHA requirements in a warehouse environment
- Ability to be forklift certified

- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
