Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Facility Maintenance
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: On-site
Sirius Staffing is seeking an Associate Maintenance System Coordinator for our client's health and life sciences facility in Sheboygan, WI. This role supports plant maintenance operations by maintaining and updating maintenance data within the ERP and/or maintenance management software systems. They assist with asset management, spare parts inventory, preventive maintenance updates, calibration records, and storeroom organization.
Responsibilities- Maintain and update plant maintenance data in ERP and/or CMMS systems
- Support asset management and spare parts inventory control
- Coordinate spare parts supply and communicate with suppliers as needed
- Update preventive maintenance and calibration records based on Maintenance team feedback
- Conduct maintenance task observations and time studies
- Assist with digitization of maintenance tasks and procedures
- Support maintenance shop organization and improvement projects
- Perform in-field equipment tagging and documentation
- Follow all plant safety rules and identify/report unsafe conditions
- Complete miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned
- Contribute to department goals while maintaining professionalism and teamwork
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational, technical, or shop training preferred
- No maintenance experience required but mechanically inclined with willingness to learn
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Maintenance personnel
- Ability to use PC software and applications including CMMS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and web browsers
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment with guidance
- Ability to learn and interpret drawings and schematics
