Maintenance​/Custodial - Cleaner

Organizational

Reports to:

Director of Operations, Principal, Head Custodian, Custodian, or designee.

• Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Prior successful experience as a cleaner preferred.
• Possess general knowledge of cleaning and housekeeping.
• Ability to do relevant mathematical calculations.
• Such additional qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and necessary under law. Such additional qualifications shall not be arbitrary or capricious.

179 days plus contracted holidays

4 hrs./day (2 pm - 6 pm)

Building:
Brookside Middle School

Base rate of pay: $ 16.88/hr.

October 12, 2026

Cleaner

To provide a clean, safe and attractive school facility.

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of school facilities as assigned.
• Responsible for cleaning windows inside and out.
• Keep walks, steps, and entrances free of snow, ice, and debris as necessary.
• Clean floors using ride on or walk behind cleaning equipment.
• Perform such other duties as assigned by Head Custodian, Custodian, Principal, Business Manager or designee.
