  • Develop and maintain the site staffing plan by personnel, trade, shift, and planned work hours; confirm adequate supervision and contractor coverage.
  • Conduct a brief pre-shift lineup meeting with Fori personnel and contractor supervision to review the daily plan, assign work by trade, discuss prior-shift issues, confirm attendance, and address safety or access concerns.
  • Direct daily installation activities against the approved installation plan and coordinate mechanical, electrical, controls, piping, rigging, and third-party supplier work.
  • Track plan-versus-actual progress, percent complete, milestones, and short-term lookahead activities; identify recovery actions when work falls behind.
  • Identify material, access, utility, drawing, information, labor, and customer constraints and elevate them before they affect safety, cost, schedule, or acceptance.

Site Logistics and Material Control

  • Coordinate inbound shipments, unloading, material routing from the dock to the work area, setting equipment in place, and temporary storage or handling when immediate placement is not possible.
  • Coordinate with the customer to define responsibility for site security, inventory control, storage areas, and protection of Fori, contractor, and customer property.
  • Confirm required drawings, site spares, tools, equipment, utilities, and third-party supplier support are available when needed.
  • Maintain orderly work areas and verify contractor housekeeping, debris removal, and touch-up obligations are completed.

Safety and Equipment Control

  • Deliver or coordinate site-specific safety orientations and badge requirements; maintain orientation, Job Hazard Analysis, and toolbox-talk records.
  • Hold and exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed; report incidents and near misses the same day in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Manage equipment power states, including Power Off, Power On, Teach, E-Stop, and Moving/Try conditions, and coordinate lockout/tagout requirements with the customer plant team.
  • Communicate emergency contacts, site rules, restricted areas, and escalation procedures to assigned personnel.

Contractor Oversight and Scope Control

  • Direct contractor work and verify daily manpower by trade, start and finish times, hours worked, and time sheets before sign-off.
