Custodian Maintenance and Grounds

Part-Time Groundskeeper

This is a part-time position with responsibilities supporting school grounds and facilities throughout the district. Custodian mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas throughout the school corporation. Safely operate and maintain commercial mowing and grounds equipment. Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance, including landscaping, leaf removal. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance of all outdoor areas. Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work cooperatively with the Maintenance and Custodial Department to support district operations. Assist with setting up equipment for school and community events as needed. Maintain a professional attitude and positive relationships with staff, students, and the public. Attend required training and implement updated procedures. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by supervisors as time allows. Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as needed.
