Cushman Hydro Seasonal Grounds Worker

Tacoma Power is excited to announce we are accepting applications for 2 vacancies for Seasonal Grounds Workers (under the Laborer classification) at the Cushman Project located near Hoodsport, WA (3 miles south).

As a Grounds Worker, your responsibilities include lawn mowing, weed eating, light janitorial duties, painting projects, garbage hauling, and other tasks ensuring cleanliness of the hydro project.

This is a temporary position, starting on 3/24 or 4/21 (flexible), with an average duration of approximately 6 months and potential extension. Starting pay is $20.51 per hour.

• Some experience in performing heavy manual work; completion of the eighth grade; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Some experience providing customer service preferred.

• Valid Washington State Driver License required at time of appointment and maintenance thereafter.
• Appointment is subject to passing a background check, pre‑employment medical exam and drug screen.
