Yard Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a Porter / Yard Worker to work in a challenging, fast‑paced environment with opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles, and work as part of a safety‑focused team.

The Yard Associate is responsible for the stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, servicing equipment as necessary to ensure it meets all set specifications, and inspecting equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged items.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• General mechanical aptitude
• Safety focus
• Bi‑lingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, working indoors and outdoors as required.

$17.75 - $23.72 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
